After some try and error, below are the list of software I use from day to day on my X01HT. Freeware are listed at the beginning of the list.

  • Pocket Informant - the PIM replacement
Other Utilities and Multimedia
  • XnView Pocket - the freeware image viewer
  • Mort Player - the freeware MP3 player(make sure you check out the beautiful skins)
  • Acrobat PDF Reader 2.0 (make sure you install the full version) - freeware
  • TCPMP - the freeware movie player
  • ClearTemp - freeware to remove temp files in the storage area
  • mdict - the freeware dictionary
  • SPB Insight - the RSS reader (I am especially fond of the template feature)
  • iSilo - the ebook reader
  • CapScrUtil - the utility to capture the screen to a BMP file
