After using SPB Insight for more than 2 years, I tried out pRSSreader and loves it. The latest version 1.4.4 is great.
If you are looking a RSS reader for your WM machine, you should seriously consider pRSSreader. Below my experience I have with pRSSreader. Hope you will find them useful.
1. the latest version supports Google reader integration. It would automatically synchronize the content with what you have in the Google reader account. I would highly recommend this since you don't have to add the feeds manually.
2. it uses much less memory than SPB Insight. I could leave it on all the time without conscerning running out of memory.
3. Chinese RSS is not a problem.
4. if you are used to the template feature in SPB Insight, you would need the HTML optimizer feature in pRSSreader even though that requires a bit of work. The following optimizer entry should be a good start. If you want the kind of flexibility in SPB Insight, you may need a XSLT capable web engine.

5. finally, another big PLUS being pRSSreader, when you sync with Google reader, the history is not limited to the RSS page size. E.g. even if the RSS page contains only the latest 10 entries, pRSSreader is able to retrieve all entries (since the last update) from Google.
